Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
WageBenchmark.com is a free, public reference tool built on government wage data. We collect as little information as possible and never sell personal data. This page explains what we do and don't collect.
No accounts, no personal data required
The public site requires no login, account, or registration. You can browse every salary, occupation, and location page without providing any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, salary, or employer.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site fast. This measures aggregate traffic patterns (such as page views and referring sites) without cookies and without building a profile of you across the web. We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies
The public site does not set tracking cookies. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) may be retained briefly for security and operational purposes, as is typical for any website.
The data we publish
The wage, employment, and projection figures on this site are aggregate statistics published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Department of Labor. They describe occupations and geographic areas — never identifiable individuals. See our data sources for details.
Third-party links
Pages may link to external sources such as bls.gov and dol.gov. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
